The H5 virus was also detected in serum samples of 460 other ducks in Tan Tao A ward, Tan Binh precinct, on Jan.5. <<
The transparency in the added detail is useful in pinpointing clusters of reported outbreaks. These locations correspond to earlier reports on Can Tho city that indicated almost half of the duck samples were H5N1 positive. The above locations show that many of the duck locations are midway between the two case clusters linked to Dong Thap Province and Tra Vihn / Tien Giang Provinces in the Mekong Delta.
