Tiger / Tiger H5N1 Transmission

influenza including high fever, were being treated with anti-viral
medicine at the privately-run Sri Racha Tiger Zoo just outside Bangkok,
said Pisit Ketphasuk, the governor of Chon Buri province. <<
The original time frame for
symptoms in the 83 tigers that had died suggested tiger to tiger spread
of H5N1. The comments above further support tiger to tiger
spread, as did earlier lab experiments with domestic cats. There
is really little reason to expect that there would not be tiger to
tiger spread of H5N1.
